How Snorrie Works
Snorrie helps you wake up feeling more refreshed by using sleep cycle calculations.
💤 What’s a Sleep Cycle?
Sleep isn’t just one long nap — your brain moves through repeating cycles of deep sleep, light sleep, and REM (dream) sleep. Each cycle lasts around 90 to 110 minutes.
Waking up in the middle of deep sleep often causes grogginess, while waking up at the end of a cycle tends to feel more natural and alert.
⏱️ How Snorrie Calculates Your Times
- Each cycle is assumed to be 90–110 minutes
- We account for 14 minutes of average fall-asleep time
- We suggest wake-up times (or bedtimes) that land at the end of a full cycle
It’s not perfectly precise — every person’s sleep is different — but the general timing is backed by years of sleep research.
